This body of work is around my love of the Pacific Northwest. Through multiple years I utilized a digital, film, and instant film camera to document the different feelings I received from my surroundings in this landscape. Notably, the various benches, chairs, and seats that are put out in public for free but aren’t being used when the photo was taken.
They are always there however, whenever anyone needs to take a moment of calm, absorbing their surroundings in this countryside. In this document you will see Polaroids, 35mm film, digital images, and the occasional poem to accompany the visuals.
